I don’t know all the details, but I watched a news story a while ago about this little her pictured with her lawyer.
This little girl has fought for her divorce in a child marriage and has been interviewed by MANY American and Swedish media companies. When her tours were over she went back home to a family where her father was I’ll and even with the money she had been given, was unable to pay for her father’s treatment. The media company which initially interviewed her was allowed into the girl’s home for the very last time and she explained to them that nothing has changed in her situation apart from no longer being married.

And please, understand that THIS story is NOT Islam, it is the distorted social norm of rural areas in developing countries.
